Translation is both a time-consuming and fascinating task which requires skill and professionalism, reliability, quality, punctuality and, of course, reasonable prices.
Our priority when working on a translation lies not only in the optimum employment of language -an indispensable although insufficient requirement-, but also in individualising the specific components of the text and transmitting the same concepts and messages inherent to the source text whilst respecting the original linguistic and cultural aspects.
The final objective is the creation of a complete, coherent translation in concordance with the original text and adapted to the client’s requirements. The work of a translator cannot be compared to an assembly line: it is an artesian task which is carried out by a wordsmith and the translation process must comprehend a series of operations:
ANALYSIS OF THE TEXT TO BE TRANSLATED
– An analysis of the style, the terminology employed and the search for equivalents in the target language.
PRODUCTION OF THE TRANSLATED TEXT
– The drafting of the text in the target language in the most natural, coherent style.
– Applied to the fluidity, the correct use of terminology, syntax and grammar, format, integrity and spelling.
Thus, each of the components which make up the translation is duly checked and the client is provided with a complete, punctual and high-quality service.
